Description

Seabella is well-maintained by an experienced, attentive and knowledgeable owner: USCG 50-ton Master, ASA instructor 101, 103, 104, 119. This 2-Owner yacht shows very well and has received many updates and upgrades over the years. The 3 cabin / 2 head configuration offers more versatility for guest and storage. Seabella is with a standard rig with an in-mast furling mainsail and furling genoa.

The combination makes this yacht Inter-Coastal Waterway (ICW) "friendly" at 63' above the waterline . The current owner's original intention was to plan a long retirement cruise in Seabella, hence all the equipment upgrades. In the end, they decided to invest in a larger yacht that was purpose built to cross oceans. This is a great opportunity to step into a yacht that is well sorted and ready to go blue water sailing.

Handling notes from the current owners:

  • Motoring into 30 kts on a 40°F day in early Spring, the cockpit enclosure kept the crew warm, safe and dry in the face of waves and spray coming over the bow.
  • Anchored overnight with an air temperature of 35°F and water temperature of 49°F the Eberspacher heater easily maintained the cabin at a comfortable 66°F.
  • Fin keel and bow thruster make the boat easy to maneuver around a marina in most conditions.
  • Solar and lithium amount to virtually unlimited electricity for most practical purposes of the cruising sailor.
