The Tiara 3800 Open combines a proven offshore hull, substantial fishing capability, and a comfortable cruising interior in a versatile express platform. This example is powered by twin Cummins 6CTA 8.3L diesels rated at 480 HP each, with approximately 1,400 hours, and is equipped with a Marlin tower, bow thruster, upgraded Garmin electronics, extensive fishing equipment, and a long list of practical cruising features.

Her large stepped cockpit provides approximately 147 square feet of usable space, including a 70-square-foot lower fishing cockpit. The layout is well suited for serious offshore fishing while still offering the seating, refrigeration, storage, climate control, and accommodations needed for extended cruising. Fishing equipment includes 24 rod holders, Lee outriggers with dual rigging, a rocket launcher pedestal, dual transom-mounted livewells, tackle and bait-prep areas, fish boxes, and a dedicated deep freezer.

Below deck, the Plan A interior features more than 6'7" of headroom, a private forward stateroom with island queen berth, a convertible salon, full galley, and an enclosed head with separate stall shower. Teak-and-holly flooring, substantial teak cabinetry, Corian surfaces, and multiple opening hatches and portlights give the cabin the traditional fit and finish associated with Tiara.

Notable upgrades include dual Garmin 8215 displays, Garmin AIS 600, Garmin 6kW HD2 radar, Simrad AP20 autopilot, electronic engine controls with trolling valves, bow thruster, upgraded Balmar high-output alternators, underwater lighting, and an extensive Fusion/JL Audio sound system.

The Cummins engines have received their 1,000-hour service, with supporting paperwork retained by the owner. Six maintenance-free batteries were replaced in June 2026, and the lower cockpit electric lifting helm deck received new hydraulic rams in 2026.
