2003 Grand Banks 38 Eastbay HX

Description

The Grand Banks 38 Eastbay is one of the most popular boats in Grand Banks history and Candide is a truly one-of-a-kind 38: the second to last Eastbay 38 ever built and one of the only boats equipped with Yanmar power. She truly stands out from her peers with a long list of upgrades and a great platform: finding a late model 38HX in this condition and with this power plant is not an easy task to say the least. Hightlights of Candide include:

  • Twin Yanmar 440hp diesels
  • Brand new Cummins Onan Generator with 20 hours
  • Flag Blue Awlgrip hull paint
  • Exterior varnish stripped to bare wood and redone last year
  • Newer Garmin electronics suite
  • Upgraded newer galley appliances (SS drawer fridges, Breville Oven, and induction stove)
  • New pilothouse soft goods and enclosure
  • New St. Croix stainless steel dinghy davits

As you can see, there are very few things left on the list of desirable upgrades. Candide has been well cared for by her 3 owners and is ready for her 4th! She is in the water, on a dock in Mystic, Connecticut just 5 minutes off I-95 and can be seen by scheduling an advance appointment with the listing broker.
